Between 2005 and 2008 I started my professional career as a consultant in acoustic engineering.

This page gives an overview of this rich experience for myself. Because it deals with experimental acoustics, it remains today a source of inspiration for my researchs.

 

As illustrated by the diagram of the side figure*, the acoustician is a member of a team of engineers coordinates by the architect. At that time my work was split into 4 main areas:

               1 - room acoustics,

               2 - environmental acoustics,

               3 - building acoustics,

               4 - noise prevention.

 

* Note that a more realistic diagram would have used a smaller bubble than the others for acoustics.
